An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a world-leading global organization. Our client, a leading, global FMCG company with brands such as PG Tips, Dove, Knorr, Persil & Magnum, are currently looking to recruit a Sustainable Sourcing Assistant Manager (Vegetable Oils).

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build effective internal and external partnerships based on mutual respect and trust.
  • Recognize and leverage the strengths of team members, flexing to optimize relationships.
  • Contribute to our sustainable sourcing efforts, with a focus on Vegetable Oils.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure a robust and sustainable supply chain.
  • Drive project success through effective project management and stakeholder engagement.
  • Monitor and analyze sustainability metrics, providing valuable insights for continuous improvement.


Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of working experience, ideally in procurement or related fields.
  • Project management experience, including stakeholder management and planning.
  • Ability to run meetings and engage with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Passion or drive for sustainability with a desire to contribute to positive change.
  • Understanding of supply chain operations and relationship dynamics.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with procurement related to ingredients or direct procurement.
  • Familiarity with buying commodities or special ingredients.
  • Global experience in addition to or in lieu of UK experience.


Additional Information:


This project role could extend after 12 months for another year depending on success, although no guarantee can be provided. While the focus is primarily in the UK, global topics and interactions with different countries will be common. This role involves occasional travel inside the UK, mainly in the South, approximately once a month.
